Biotechnology Management Research (3)

The course is designed for students with diversified background interested in biotech industries management to introduce the frontiers of methodology and tools in biotech management research. These include strategic alliance, intangible asset assessment, marketing of biotech products, analysis and development of biotechnology industry, application of bioinformatics, innovation system of management, intellectual capital, social capital, network theory, and policy implications of biotechnology. Each student must jointly finish a comprehensive study on selected topics. A satisfactory evaluation on examination, oral presentation, and a term paper will be required for this course.
